Scholarships & Fellowships

Student with pipetteThe college and the university award a multitude of scholarships to natural sciences students each year.

Some awards are merit-based, others are need-based, and many are available only to students who've chosen a particular area of study or who meet particular biographical criteria.

By accurately filling out these forms, you will be considered for a variety of college- and university-administered scholarships:

  • The Common Application for scholarships awarded by the College of Natural Sciences to current students. A complete application consists of the online portion and two (2) faculty letters of recommendation. The deadline is April 15 of every year. All materials, including letters of recommendation, must be received by this deadline.
  • The Common Application for continuing and transfer students for scholarships funded by the university. The deadline is typically April 1.
  • The Common Application for incoming first-year students for scholarships funded by the university. The deadline is December 1 of the applicant
